Scotland international striker Oliver McBurnie has reportedly been charged with drunk-driving according to STV News.
The Sheffield United forward is said to have been caught driving over the limit in Leeds in the wee hours of Friday morning, according to West Yorkshire Police.
The 23-year-old is reportedly set to make his official court appearance on November 6.
A police spokesman said: “A 23-year-old Leeds man will appear before magistrates next month after being charged with a drink-driving offence.
“Oliver McBurnie, from Leeds, will appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on November 6 after being charged with driving over the prescribed limit in Leeds in the early hours of Friday, October 18.”
Sheffield are set to host Arsenal at Bramall Lane on Monday night. Kick-off is set for 21:00 (CAT).
